About this song

"Man In The Mirror" is one of Michael Jackson's most highly acclaimed songs written by Glen Ballard and Siedah Garrett (Who provided some of the track's background vocals). Released as a single in the spring of 1988, it was nominated for Record of the Year at the Grammy Awards. The song garnered massive airplay and topped the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks. According to the Man In The Mirror Songfacts, it was the first song Garrett had ever written - not a bad one to start off with!
