Lyrics are copyrighted, we can't publish them unless we get the rights. Hiding the lyrics is the only solution we have to run legally, this is not a bug ! (but an awesome Lyrics Killer on the fly made by our dev)
There are thousands of illegal guitar/lyrics sites... UT respects the copyrights.
There are counless internet sources for lyrics.
Copy/paste a Guitar Tablature in the textarea, remove everything (lyrics, text, chord names...) exept the tabs lines and line breaks. Every tab line must either start with a '|' character or a string name (ex: 'G|' or 'E|' or A|, etc.). If you have many tab blocks to convert, our tool will detect them (but note that at least one line break is required between 2 blocks). If for some reason, something goes wrong, try to limit your input to one block (=6 tab lines!). Don't forget that this a sofisticated tool, not 100% accurate... we're still working on it.
To garantee a minimum of accuracy, every uke tab submitted on UT must get at least 3 votes for / against before being published or rejected. Until this point, the tab is 'pending', waiting for your ratings. Once a tab has recorded 3 votes for or against, the tabber will receive a PM to be informed of the results. The tab is then put online or deleted from the archive.
If you win a contest, you will receive an email within 2 days after the end of the contest. If you don't receive anything, sorry, but you probably didn't win. That being said, a potential winner has 7 days to reply to our email, so if we don't get any answer, an alternate winner is selected, and so on... In any case, we always announce who won a contest once we get a reply from the potential winner.
Yes, as long as we don't show the rythm, the melody or publish the lyrics of the songs.
