The drum-pattern might also be D DU DU DU
Brigde: just play one down-stroke.
Followed by the chorus, where you play a down stroke on each chord for the first three lines. In the last two lines of the chorus play 8 down strokes for each chord.
Finish the song with a simple down stroke on the C.
