About this song: End Of The Night

End of the Night was partly inspired by/is a reference to the French author Louis-Ferdinand Celiné's Voyage au bout de la nuit (Journey to the end of the night), in which the cynical, misanthropic character Bardamu (a pun on the French 'Bard', a professional poet, working for a nobleman), travels trough the horrors of World War I, colonial Africa and post World War I-America.` Also quotes directly from William Blake's "Auguries of Innocence."Read more on Last.fm.
