C baritone chordC
The night is deafening

When the silence is listening
Fsus2 baritone chordFsus2
And I'm down on my knees

And I know that something is missing
C baritone chordC
Because the back of my mind is holding things I'm relying in,
Cadd9 baritone chordCadd9 G baritone chordG
But I choose to ignore it because I'm always denying them.

C baritone chordC
I'm a bit of a manic when it's not as I plan it,
Fsus2 baritone chordFsus2
'Cause I start losing my head

And then I get up in a panic
C baritone chordC
Remember, when we were kids

And always knew when to quit it
Cadd9 baritone chordCadd9 G baritone chordG
Are we denying a crisis, or are we scared of admitting it?

I don't want to know

You're getting tighter and tighter, it's getting harder to let it go

About this song: Saviour

The first single off of Lights debut full length due out in September.
Saviour is a propulsive pop ballad that represents the essence of Lights. "My songs are spawned from moments of sadness or intense emotion," the singer says. "'Saviour' is a big example of taking one of those really dark emotional situations and turning it into something positive. I just happened to get hit with a really dark sad night. The melody started coming together and the words started pouring out. I was crying when I wrote the first line of the chorus and it actually sounds kind of like crying.
