There's a lot of questionable chord choices for this song, but instead of [D7] when it says "but he kept it all inside his head", I've found it way more pleasing to the ear to replace it with [G].
Also, when it says "If I could tell her, tell her everything I see", do [C], [G], [Em], [D] instead of the chords that are written down.
The bridge also doesn't sound 100% right, but I'll test with that another day and come back.
