About this song: Lady In Black

Song penned and sung by keyboard player Ken Hensley which appeared on Uriah Heep's second album entitled 'Salisbury'. Liner notes state that the track was written while the band was on tour in Germany. The track is a haunting ballad with a heavy background vocal chant. The entire song was recorded with 4 acoustic guitars and consists of two chords (Am/G) throughout. One of the band's most popular songs and often covered during concerts with different arrangements.
