C C Am Am F F G G
C C Am Am F F G G
Ohhhh Oh ohh Oh ohhh ooooo oooooo

CHORUS

C C
I'm standing on the borderline
G G Am Am
What should I bring or leave behind,
F F
From who I was,
G G
For who I'm gonna be?

VERSE

C C G G Am Am
I still haven't packed my bags
G G C C
It's time to go
G G Am Am
And I could not care less
F F
So now, I'll miss the train
G G
A A walk's still progress made,
C C G G
I just won't arrive quite as fast

C C G G Am Am
I'm thinking way back
G G C C
To where I'm from
G G Am Am
To the things I had
F F
I feel I've forgotten something
G G
I'm sure that it's probably nothing
C C
But that's based more on fear than on fact

CHORUS

C C
I'm standing on the borderline
G G Am Am
Between two states, I'm petrified
F F G G
To push ahead or turn back homewardly

VERSE

C C G G Am Am
I'm a shadow of the past
G G C C
The shadow of a boy,
G G Am Am
A A boy who couldn't last
F F
They said: "Son, don't change"
G G C C
And I keep hoping they won't see how much I have

G G Am Am
A A feeling's not a thing you own
G G C C
But it can be lost
G G Am Am
I just want to go home
F F
‘Cause home's where the heart is
G G
And when I departed,

I might've abandoned them both

CHORUS

C C
I'm standing on the borderline
G G Am Am
Between two states, I'm petrified
C C
I'm standing on the borderline,
G G Am Am
What should I bring or leave behind
F F
From who I was
G G
For who I'm gonna be?

BRIDGE

G G D D F F
I'd like to say, "I'm the same person from Yesterday,
C C
Nothing's changed,"
G G D D F F
‘Cause Yesterday I was eager to see what awaited,
C C
I wasn't jaded
G G D D F F
But no!
C C
I can't go back
G G
Youth seemed sweeter
D D F F
But if I could return, all I've learned would be forfeit
C C
I won't go back

G G D D
I'm followed by the borderline as I pace forward in my life
F F C C G G
Seeking the times I'll long for once they leave me

This is a really sweet song, I feel like he put his heart and soul into it, really simple song, I reccomend it for people who have a hard time with harder Chords or are just starting with Ukulele. I haven't figured out a strumming pattern but I'll comment again as soon as I have
