[CC] [FF]
Sorry is the fool who trades his soul for a Corvette
[D7D7] [G7G7]
Thinks he'll get the girl he'll only get the mechanic
[AA] [FF] [GG]
What's missing He's living a day he'll soon forget

mute the strings and strum the rythym quickly

[FF] [G7G7]
That's one more time around the sun is going down
[D7D7] [G7G7]
The moon is out but he's drunk and shouting putting people down
[FF] [G7G7] [CC] [FF] [CC]
He's pissing he's living a day he'll soon forget

[FF] [FF] [G7G7]
Counts his money every morning the only thing that keeps him horny
[FF] [G7G7]
Locked in a giant house that's alarming
[D7D7] [G7G7]
The townsfolk they all laugh

[muted strings strumming]

[CC] [FF]
Sorry is the fool who trades his love for high-rise rent
[D7D7] [G7G7]
Seems the more you make equals the loneliness you get
[AA] [FF] [G7G7]
And it's fitting he's barely living a day he'll soon forget

[muted strings strumming]

[FF] [G7G7]
That's one more time around and there is not a sound
[D7D7] [G7G7]
He's lying dead clutching Benjamins never put the money down
[FF] [G7G7] [CC]
He's stiffening we're all whistling a man we'll soon forget

(do the quicky C chordC to F chordF strum)

I didn't realize the comments wouldn't stack the chords vertically. They are (G string first, C string second, etc.) E Major: 4 4 4 7 and A Major: 6 4 5 4.

Hello,

Glad this tab was up, as it's a great song. And it's fun to learn now that I've finally purchased a ukulele after playing guitar for years.

Actually, there's really only one part that sounds incorrect to me.

In the chorus of the song, the second two chords sound like E & A to my ear, not D7 & G7 as written. It would look like this:

[F][G7]
That's...

[E][A]
The...

[F][G7][C][F][C]
He's...

The E Major I hear is:
7
4
4
4

The A Major would be:
4
5
4
6

Thanks for reading, and keep up the good work.
