for the strumming pattern I just do DDDD because each cord gets 4 counts, except the first f and c in the verses which get 2, and use my knuckles to make it soft

Personally I skip the F in the verses and just do C instead. Idk. I feel like it sounds more like the original

the strumming pattern I'd use would be DDUUDU but in a slow motion. if that doesn't work then try DDDDUDU also in a slow way.
