an easier version is to watch Tyler's strumming pattern closely and use F, G, and G string second fret A string third fret, then end on G. Repeat till chorus. Strum up and down with your index finger and thumb, hitting the A string on your way up with your pointer finger and strumming down with the pad of your thumb. An easy way to learn this is by plucking the G and A strings to the rhythm. like this:

and so forth with the other chords. Find a rhythm when you're comfortable and strum along with the plucking. it sounds really accurate. hope I explained this well enough.
