Broadway is black like a sinkhole

Strange situations I get anxious

But pray that they don't call me thankless

My tell tale heart's a hammer in my chest

Cut me a silk tie tourniquet

Oscars and Emmy's and Grammy's

Everyone here is a trophy

The past on the pavement below me

So unaware of my status

Designer me up in straight jackets

If you take it down a half step it gives you easier chords to play. And if you put a capo on the first fret, and take it down a half step, it sounds the same, but are easier chords.

I find transpose +4 and replacing E with Em to be easiest

for verses and the bridge i find the strumming patterns D DDUD and D DDU to be good and interchangeable. for the pre chorus i use single down strums and then i switch to an D DUDUDU. when you reach the chorus slowed down i use really hard down strums for emphasism, when you reach the second "this is my roaring" i go back to the verses strum pattern. do the same for the outro and play a single down strum for the last "I wanna go home"
