The Abner was an experimental post-hardcore band from Chelmsford/London, England, United Kingdom. They started out as Project Abner, before changing their name in 2004. Their EP Chinoiserie Lounge dropped in 2006 on Basick Records. Later they released their single D.I.S.C.O in 2008. They were working on a full length but called it quits before that happened. The band was active from 2001 until 2009.The Abner are an enigma wrapped in a riddle. They've been dubbed by most as a 'partycore' band, and I suppose this definition is accurate. Read more on Last.fm
