I think the strumming pattern is D - UX - D. The chord is divided into 2 group F G7 and Cmaj7 C7. I would strum like this: down - up stop(or chuck) for F and then down for G7 and repeat for Cmaj7 and C7

the f chord sounds better when you strum it while holding down the 3rd fret on the A string

It should go dd-d dd-d strumming twice on the first chord,pause for a second then strum the next chord once. Pause again then repeat on the next two chords
