I used the G cord in place of the E minor when I first learned the song and it worked really well so I would recommend that for beginners or if you are learning the song for the first time :)

I'd suggest using like a very simple and kinda slow strumming pattern. I don't have a fixed one yet, but most slow and simple ones work greay

a good way to play it it's instead of strumming, fingerpicking the g string with the thumb and then the other 3 at the same time, and repeating that 4 times for most of the chords (except in these parts
