I do sth like a pick strum where I strum the A and E strings upwards with my index finger and the G and C strings downwards with my thumb rotationally. This goes 4x for the C, 4x for the Gm, 8x for the F.
For the 'home at last' part you can do 2 downstrokes on the C chord and then DDU UDU for F and Am.
Alternatively you can do DDU UDU for the whole song or change into it after the 2nd chorus :-)
