I found that using DD-UDU DDUUDU sounds the best for me. DD-UDU for g and g7 and DDUUDU for gmaj7 and cm (the dash just indicates a little pause)

I've found this song in other places on the internet but the chords are different. Is there a reason for that?? But i've tried playing and this chord pattern seemed to match the song just fine. So i don't really understand what's going on.
