Stan Roto Walker (born 23 October 1990), is a New Zealand recording artist and actor. Born in Melbourne, Australia, Walker auditioned for the seventh series of Australian Idol in 2009 and became the winner. After Idol he subsequently signed a recording contract with Sony Music Australia. In 2009, Walker released his debut studio album Introducing... Stan Walker, which peaked in the top three of the ARIA Albums Chart and featured his first New Zealand number one hit single "Black Box".
