I use D TU UTU for this (T meaning 'tap'). For the bridge i do D T. (strum down on the first beat, and tap on the third).
Also works with the regular D DU UDU but imo it sounds cooler if you replace the second and third downstrums with a tap.

Chords really well but need to be shifted. An easy fix just by playing the chords right before the phrase.

you can also play it with a capo on 4th fret and just change the D chord to Dsus

Why do these never line up right? It's a massive pain trying to decode where the chords were supposed to be.
