I think either "D G A" or "D A" works better for the line "I can go the distance."

Ah, yes, the uke. Some songs do that moreso than others. Almost all Disney can do that. Same with most coldplay, and my personal favorite (which I will post soon) is Jump Rope by Blue October. But yeah, thanks.
