Using Fmaj7 instead of F sounds a lot better. To play Fmaj7, it's two fingers on the fifth fret of the G and C string.

It's really good, but the ending should play E then E7, and use a picking pattern where you strum the fifth on the first string, then go to three two and strum open to end it.
