Intro: A baritone chordA F baritone chordF C baritone chordC E baritone chordE x2

VERSE 1:
A baritone chordA F baritone chordF C baritone chordC
Miss Maggie was way too young to understand,
E baritone chordE
Why she got thrown into someone else's hands,
A baritone chordA F baritone chordF C baritone chordC E baritone chordE
Why she woke up to strange men,
A baritone chordA F baritone chordF C baritone chordC
They tore her to pieces and she couldn't comprehend,
E baritone chordE A baritone chordA
Why she was locked up in a basement filled with men,
F baritone chordF
Should've gone to school,
C baritone chordC E baritone chordE
Instead she did them.

PRE-CHORUS:
A baritone chordA
Don't touch me,
F baritone chordF
I'm fragile,
C baritone chordC E baritone chordE
I'm bitter in my heart.
A baritone chordA
Mama sold me
F baritone chordF
For candy,
C baritone chordC E baritone chordE
And I was ruined from the start.

CHORUS:
A baritone chordA F baritone chordF
Why do you have to sell me to those mean old men?
C baritone chordC E baritone chordE
They cut me up in places I don't even understand,
A baritone chordA F baritone chordF
It's normalcy to me, but how will my friends understand?
C baritone chordC
I'm five years old,
E baritone chordE A baritone chordA F baritone chordF C baritone chordC E baritone chordE
Sleepin' with a million men.

(CONTINUE THE SAME PATTERN THROUGHOUT THE SONG)

VERSE 2:
A baritone chordA F baritone chordF C baritone chordC
All grown up and her body has decayed,
E baritone chordE A baritone chordA
All those promiscuous games she had to play,
F baritone chordF C baritone chordC E baritone chordE
Oh, she skipped the jungle-jungle-gym phase.

A baritone chordA F baritone chordF C baritone chordC
She's tryin' to look at things in a bright way,
E baritone chordE A baritone chordA
Sees the a light peekin' through the end of the hallway,
F baritone chordF C baritone chordC E baritone chordE
No, she's tryna tryna tryna escape...

PRE-CHORUS
A baritone chordA
I'm runnin'
F baritone chordF
Full force, dear
C baritone chordC E baritone chordE
But it's harder when you're bones,
A baritone chordA
I'm weak-kneed
F baritone chordF
But I'm flyin'
C baritone chordC E baritone chordE
Out of this hell hole.

CHORUS:
A baritone chordA F baritone chordF
Why do you have to sell me to those mean old men?
C baritone chordC E baritone chordE
They cut me up in places I don't even understand,
A baritone chordA F baritone chordF
It's normalcy to me, but how will my friends understand?
C baritone chordC
I'm ten years old,
E baritone chordE A baritone chordA F baritone chordF C baritone chordC E baritone chordE
Runnin' from a million men.
A baritone chordA F baritone chordF C baritone chordC E baritone chordE
A baritone chordA million men

BRIDGE:
F baritone chordF A baritone chordA
Finally the light is comin' close,
F baritone chordF A baritone chordA
No turning back, run full force,
F baritone chordF A baritone chordA
Angels swoop down and grab me,
F baritone chordF
And now I'm safe away,
E baritone chordE
From the million men who raised me.

CHORUS:
A baritone chordA F baritone chordF
Why do you have to sell me to those mean old men?
C baritone chordC E baritone chordE
They cut me up in places I don't even understand,
A baritone chordA F baritone chordF
It's normalcy to me, how will my boyfriend understand?
C baritone chordC
I'm seventeen
E baritone chordE A baritone chordA F baritone chordF C baritone chordC E baritone chordE
With a history of a million men.

A baritone chordA F baritone chordF C baritone chordC E baritone chordE
A baritone chordA million men.

A baritone chordA million men,
A baritone chordA million men,
A baritone chordA million,
A baritone chordA million men.

A baritone chordA million men,
A baritone chordA million men,
A baritone chordA million,
A baritone chordA million men.

A baritone chordA million men...

try using E7 instead of E. it makes it easier to play the song if you're a beginner and gives a better harmony.

Put capo on first with original key (A,F,C,E)! sounds just like original

It sounds good, but my only problem is the E. I'm not a pro, so I'm having trouble placing my fingers at the E, but I don't know if I'm just doing it wrong becasue the E sounds a bit strange along with the other chords.. I tried replacing it with a G, but that didn't sound too optimal either. So maybe you could work on that? :)
