Am Am C C
It's a little bit funny
F F C C G G
This feeling inside.
Am Am C C
I'm not one of those who can
F F C C G G
Easily hide.

Am Am C C
I don't have much money
F F C C G G
But boy if I did
C C F F
I'd buy a big house where
F F G G
We both could live.

Am Am C C
So excuse me forgetting
F F C C G G
But these things I do.
Am Am C C
See I've forgotten if
F F C C G G
They're green or they're blue.

Am Am C C
Anyway the thing is...
F F C C G G
What I really mean...
C C F F
Yours are the sweetest eyes
F F G G
I've ever seen.

G G Am Am
And you can tell everybody
F F C C
This is your song.
G G Am Am
It maybe quite simple but
F F C C G G
Now that it's done
Am Am F F
I hope you don't mind (x2)
C C G G
That I put down in words
C C G G
How wonderful life is
Am Am F F G G
Now you're in the world.

If I was a sculptor
But then again no.
Or a girl who makes potions in
A A travelling show.
I know it's not much but
It's the best I can do.
My gift is my song and
This one's for you.

F F C C G G Am Am (X4)
Oh... (x10)

And you can tell everybody
This is your song.
It maybe quite simple but
Now that it's done
I hope you don't mind (x2)
That I put down in words
How wonderful life is
(End on C C)
Now you're in the world.

About this song: Your Song

"Your Song" is a cover of Elton John's classic song from 1970. It was released on 12 November 2010 as the first single off the re-release of her debut album Lights entitled Bright Lights. Originally a debut No.7 hit for Elton John back in 1971, nearly forty years later Ellie's rendition of the classic 'Your Song' gave her a No.2 smash hit in December 2010.
