About this song: Blue (da Ba Dee)

"Blue (Da Ba Dee)" is a single by Italian group Eiffel 65. It is the band's most popular single, reaching #1 the UK, Australia, and Germany, and also reaching #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States[1]. The song was released in 1999 on the album Europop. The lyrics of the song are nonsensical, Jeffrey Jey (the lead singer) stated the lyrics were not supposed to mean anything. The chorus is often erroneously thought to be saying "If I was green, I would die." Another one is a drug reference, and its "i've OD'ed, i have died" as in 'I've overdosed, i've have died'.
