About this song: A Nightmare To Remember

The first track on Dream Theater's 2009 album Black Clouds & Silver Linings. The lyrics, written by guitarist Petrucci, feature a play by play experience of a car crash. Musically this song has several movements and features a heavily gothic style which is new to the band. It also contains the first recorded blast beats by Mike Portnoy.
