Plastic Bertrand was a new wave rock group from Belgium. . The lead singer, (Roger Jouret, born February 24, 1958) from Belgium, most famous for the new-wave parody "Ça plane pour moi" which was released one month after Elton Motello's "Jet Boy, Jet Girl". The group also appeared at the Eurovision Song Contest, representing Luxembourg in 1987. The lyrics are full of 1970s French slang, and are very difficult to translate exactly into English. Even native French speakers disagree on the exact meaning.
