I did D'DUDU for a strumming pattern and it sounds nice enough.
A few notes:
The chords don't line up well with the lyrics in the verses:
The D should start at "Brother" and on the next line, the E doesn't start until "to".
Then, the next D starts on "Garden" and continues until it changes to E on "happy".
In the chorus, the chords change every time Thom says "dream".
Not sure what DA means (the A/D chord doesn't work there).
