Your ukulele, will never stay in tune forever, so get that idea out of your head.
Some ukuleles I have bought, the person at the store will tune it and by the time I get home it will be far from in-tune. Then I tune it and when playing I can hear it falling from being in-tune. If this s happening to you there is no need to worry, here is how to fix it.

TIP

Before you tune each string, make sure to rub your thumb and pointer finger up and down each string, making the strings warm. As well pulling the strings up a bit from the fret board to stretch the strings. This will help break the strings in. You may not notice a difference the first couple times you do it. My first ukulele took a week or so. My second one a couple days. So don't worry if it takes a while.
