How to Depict Shredding? Or at least repetition of a note with high speed in a span of a second?

    Salutations!

So I'm trying to widow a song to turn it into a ukulele tab, and there are a few parts of the song where you have to shred(?) the note, or at least play it continuously and with high speed in a span of a second, and I have not seen a depiction of shredding in a tab.

I believe hammer-ons, depending on the note, are depicted as 5h; Pull-offs are depicted as 5p; Slides are depicted as 5/6 for upper notes and 5/4 for lower notes; But no shredding. >w>

    Should I use 5s, 5~~~, or just 5555555555555555555?

Interesting question, even if shredding the Uke in re-entrant tuning is probably nearly impossible ;)
I'd say you should use the space at the top or bottom of the tab, and the same symbols used for up/down picking.
One of the following should do the trick:

    1: ^...............| v..........|
    2: ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ vvvvvvvvvvv
    3: >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
    4: >.............................|
    A|------0h2h3h5p3p2p0---------------|
    E|----2----------------3p2p0--------|
    C|--0------------------------2\1p0--|
    G|----------------------------------|

I think first version is the clearer one, thus the most appropriate.

5s is similar to 5/ (slide), so definitely not this one.
5~ means "let ring" the note so it's not relevant enough either.

    Hope this helps!
Let me know where to find this tab one you're done transcribing your song.
