Biographie U2
U2 est un groupe irlandais de pop-rock formé en 1976 à Dublin. Il est composé de Bono (Paul Hewson) au chant, The Edge (David Evans) à la guitare, Adam Clayton à la basse et Larry Mullen Jr. à la batterie. Depuis la fin des années 1980, U2 s'est imposé sur la scène mondiale comme l'un des meilleurs groupes de rock. Leurs albums les plus connus sont The Joshua Tree (1987) et Achtung Baby (1991). Leur dernier en date est No Line On The Horizon (2009). Ils ont vendu 170 millions d'albums et ont également remporté 22 Grammy Awards.
