Thanks for posts

Postby UT » 01 Aug 2012, 11:57

As you probably noticed, there's a "thanks" button located at the top right of every posts (in certain forums).
If you find a post useful, you have the ability to thank the author of the post !
Thanks received / given are then displayed on your profiles.

It's not only a cool feature, but a tool that will help us to find and select interesting threads.

Please note that you can't remove a thank.

I cannot hit the "thank" button for admin, it appears.

So can we just get a round of applause for the U-T team instead? :top:

Ahah, good idea :p

We don't need to be thanked (plus, we don"t want to win one of the ukuleles we offer :p), but normally you can. It just depends on where you are on the forum. You can only "thanks" for posts in some forums.

But we will publish the list to make it clearer.

hey wondershon,
there's a "thank" button located at the top right of every posts (in certain forums, this option is not available here for example). When a member finds a message interesting, he can thank the author by clicking on this button. 3 most thanked members will win a uke. ;)

Well I think you should like and thank me because I have a ukulele with a smiley face on it, and it needs a friend. No joke. This fella is getting lonely...

I'm not new to the website; I've just only registered now. I've been coming to this website for uke tabs and covers, which my friends and I find quite helpful. The tabs and variety of covers has made our weekend beach jam sessions awesome! :D I would like to thank everyone who have contributed to constructing this website; from the administrators to the people who submit covers. Thanks! :D

kissing a** i know but this site is really fantastic and i honest to god am in love with it, it is my homepage and everything i have learned so much in the past few days since buying my ukulele i just feel like god directed me to this website via google :D) but all joking aside. Whoever created this website is a true hero. for dedicating all of their time to create a user friendly website that not only teaches ukulele lessons but allows the users to create things and expand. This is the first real forum website i have been too and i still dont know everything about it but it seems a lot cooler than other forum websites i have been too. Too whoever is reading this I just want to throw a thanks out to you too because without the community i probably wouldnt think too much about this websit ( not thats it isn't amazing or anything) its just that it would be like a wikipedia for me, people use wiki but they dont log on and see fellow people who enjoy using and doing the same things they do. And as for the contest, Holy cow, $1100 dollars is a lot and you are honestly an amazing person for doing that its just so unheard of these days to hear of a legitimate contest and one that actually supports the cause of the website. Thanks again everyone and i am eager to hear from everyone and once again thankyou and happy uking :D

Wow, thanks a lot Jake1069h, we deeply appreciate your message 8>

Behind UT? Well, 2 friends that felt in love with their uke in 2008, who decided to create the first uke tab website simply because they couldn't find any real uke tab on the internet at that time.
