Hello

Now more than ever is it easy to share your playing with the rest of the interwebs via soundcloud, youtube etc.

Therefore I suggest that you add something like "your music" to the categories and then subforums like

* Constructive criticism [Asking for help with playstyle, or your own songs]
* Showing off [Just showing your creations]
* Covers [self explanatory ]
* Reviews
* Sharing [sharing uke music you love]
* ???

This to make sure that its easier to find content and not have videos/recordings all over the place (i have witnessed a bunch of photographic forums go down due to this.)

Just to make sure everything is in one place and encourage sharing, because thats what the internet is about

Weve talked about how best to incorporate this feature and the Artists/bands section is geared towards sharing your own music and discussing bands etc... Although it may be worth exploring breaking it down further. Thanks for the suggestion!

I would second Nukeulele's idea. Its seems as though people would start "advertising" themselves rather than just trying to promote checking out there music. Not everyone will, and no one has yet, but when it comes down it, money is about all that matters to people. And some day, that my even find its way to a ukeing site.

Thx for the idea, but it's more or less already available on UT :

ie. You can link your YouTube & Soundcloud pages to your profile, they will appear on every post you make on the forum.
Covers are located here, and there's a "quick" discussion functionnality. What we can do is to automatically add a new topic when a new cover is posted on the site. Then it would be possible to mix comments from the website with posts on the forum (and vice versa).

But it could only work if covers are submitted on the website.
